  1. TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT

  2. ABOUT US Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE) is a research based not-for-profit organisation operating since 1991. For over two decades, IRTE has been dedicatedly working in partnership with Corporates, Government and the regulatory bodies towards scientifically improving all domains of traffic management in which safety is an inherent virtue.

  3. How Technology is changing Traffic Law Enforcement! Technology advancements have come as a blessing for traffic law enforcement agencies. The rapid expansion of technology has set the stage for new, innovative tools that help the officers to serve their communities better. To adequately curb the dangerous driving behaviour on the road - such as running red lights and speeding, road traffic law enforcement authorities require tools that can help them not only monitor traffic speeds, but also catch the faulty motorists in the act.

  4. Traffic law enforcement equipment: In the past, law enforcement relied on devices such as electronic speed limit signs and cameras attached to a radar unit that measured a vehicle’s speed. Image capturing was triggered whenever it detected any speeding vehicle. For video-based technology, a human operator nearby was required to monitor the videos and pictures and pick out traffic law violators. However, over the years, the equipment used in traffic law enforcement have developed tremendously. With the development of radar technology, speed detection accuracy grew.
