  1. FIELD TRIP 411 What you need to know for Friday

  2. Schedule for Friday • You need to report to the gym when the bell rings at 9:20 am. NO SOONER! • In the gym, you will find your chaperone and sit with your group. • We will leave the gym to board the buses. Those who have ordered lunch will pick it up when we walk to the buses. • 9:45 – Board the buses

  3. Schedule for Friday • 10:00 am – Arrive at SeaWorld • 10:45 – Show – Animal Behavior and Husbandry. • 4:30 – Report at main entrance for check-in • 5:00 – Board buses to return to Lake Nona • 5:45-6:00 – Parents pick you up at Lake Nona HIGH SCHOOL to go home for the weekend. *parents may want to arrive a few minutes early to be parked and not pulling up when we do… or if we arrive back a few minutes early they are there

  4. DRESS CODE • You must follow OCPS Dress code at all times while on the field trip. • Wear comfortable shoes! • You are allowed to wear a hat and sunglasses at the park.

  5. WHAT NOT TO WEAR! • Bathing suits • Short shorts • Skirts • Sleeveless tops • Bandanas • Pants that hang low • Flip flops REMEMBER – SCHOOL DRESS CODE DOES APPLY!

  6. LUNCH • If you need the school to provide you a lunch, you will be picking up a sack lunch before we board the buses. • You will not be allowed to carry your lunch into the park… they will be put into a room and you will go with your group to eat there… • You may buy lunch (bring money – at least $15.00) or bring a lunch to the park.

  7. THINGS TO BRING • Sunscreen • Water or money to buy water • Money for food and souvenirs • A lunch if you are not receiving one from the school or buying one • A hat • Sunglasses

  8. ITEMS THAT ARE ALLOWED • Sunglasses • Hats • Cameras • Cell Phones • Backpacks You are responsible for everything that you bring with you! If you lose it or forget, SORRY! 

  9. YOU MUST STAY WITH YOUR CHAPERONE GROUP • You are NOT allowed to go off on your own. • You are NOT allowed to leave your group to join another group – no matter what! • There must be two chaperones with your group at all times.

  10. IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY TELL YOUR CHAPERONE! Your chaperone will have contact information to reach the teachers at the park.

  11. IF YOU MISBEHAVE • Your chaperone will call Mr. Thompson. • You will spend the rest of the day with Mr. Thompson – and trust me – it will NOT be fun!
