  12. Daily Art “Think About” Color is an Element (tool) of Design

  13. The three primary colors can not be made by mixing any other colors together. Red, Blue, and Yellow Primary colors make all of the other colors on the color wheel Place the colors equally on the color wheel.

  14. Secondary Colors : Violet, Orange, and Green Place the colors equally on the color wheel. Secondary colors are mixed by combining two primary colors together.

  15. Warm colors

  16. Cool colors.

  17. Neutral colors: Black, White, Gray, and Brown

  18. Neutral colors: Black, White, Gray, and Brown Black can be mixed by combining all the colors.

  19. Neutral colors: Black, White, Gray, and Brown Brown is mixed by combining two compliments.

  20. Neutral Colors White + Black = Gray + =

  21. A tint is made by mixing white to any color.

  22. A shade is made by mixing black with any color.

  23. The year starts with Color for Kindergarten… White Rabbit’s Color Book and a color sheet.

  25. Finally… 3. Oil pastels added to color mixing with color paddle demonstration on overhead.

  29. Values are shown on a gray scale or value scale.

  30. Value is also used in color. What happens on the gray scale if white is on one end and red is on the other?
