He is known for taking care of patients with cancer and has received Board Certifications in Internal Medicine in 1999 and Medical Oncology in 2007.
Due to his dependable and outstanding services, he has been honored multiple times with prestigious awards like the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Award, Joseph Greenfield Mentoring Award, Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award – Medical students, an Humanism in Medicine Award, Robert Silber Research Prize, Lisa Stafford Clinical Research Prize and more.
