  3. Materials Needed • Spanish I book • Work Book - $8 • A section for Spanish with 4 sub sections: - Vocabulary - Notes - Study Guide - C.W. / H.W. • Spanish / English Dictionary (recommended)

  4. Student Expectations • BE POLITE (Respect everyone & everything in the classroom.) • BE PREPARED (Come to class with all necessary materials & study EVERY night.) • BE PROMPT (Come to class on time & turn in c.w. & h.w. on time)

  5. Discipline Procedures • Verbal Warning • Face to Face Conference with Student • Parent Notification • Detention / Referral

  6. Student’s Responsibilities • Come to class every day!!!!! • If absent see my website for notes & handouts. • Be on task & turn in work on time!!!! • Study for quizzes & tests!!!!! • Practice Spanish outside of class!!!!

  7. Grading Rubric • 35 % Tests • 20 % Quizzes • C.W. / H.W. 20 % • Active Participation 10% • Final 15%

  8. Participation • Students must have at least 15 points every other week. Points are awarded for: - using Spanish in class - answering questions - reading - helping other students
