  2. Leere Meere Überfischung: • Jährlich fangen Menschen 95 Millionen Tonnen Fisch. • Man soll nur so viele Fische fangen wie man braucht. • Alle Arten sind so stark befischt, dass ihr Bestand bis zu 90% zurück gegangen ist.

  3. Immer mehr noch nicht geschlechtsreife Tiere werden gefangen, die sich noch nicht vermehren konnten. • Illegales Fischen • Manche Fische werden in Aquakulturen gezüchtet

  4. Aquakulturen • …befasst sich mit der Aufzucht von im Wasser lebenden Organismen. • z.B. Fischen, Muscheln, Krebsen und Algen • Die Aquakultur unterscheidet sich vom klassischen Fischfang in öffentlichen Gewässern. • Die Fische werden gezüchtet.

  5. Schuld an Überfischung • …Überdimensionierte und Hochtechnisierte Fangflotten. • Die Fischmenge ist dramatisch gesunken und gefährdet

  6. Folgen • Mitte des Jahrhunderts könnte die Fischerei zusammenbrechen. • Das wäre auch für die mehr als 43 Millionen Menschen ein Problem die in der Fischereibranche arbeiten und für die Fisch ein wichtiges Nahrungsmittel darstellt.
