  4. Tips to Help You Find Scholarships Brainstorm and organize -- Write down all your accomplishments and activities. In addition to school, include community, religious, and family activities. Start early & look constantly. One day isn’t enough. Apply each and every year. Local scholarships tend to have smaller applications pools, so apply for all local opportunities, but don’t forget to apply for national scholarships that fit you too.
