Coursework RequiredCompletion will require a minimum of three (3) semesters • Certificate Requirements (24 hours) * • CIS 1013 Introduction to Computer-based Systems • CIS 2203 Programming Microcomputers • CIS 2223 Microcomputer Applications • Choose one: • CIS 3423 COBOLor • CIS 3443 Object-Oriented Programming • CIS 3523 Structured System Analysis & Design • CIS 4503 Business Data Communications • CIS 4623 Database Management Systems • Elective Course, choose from: • CIS 3423 COBOL(if not used above) • CIS 3443 Object-Oriented Programming (if not used above) • CIS 3453 World Wide Web Programming • CIS 3553 Advanced COBOL (if COBOL is completed) • CIS 4723 Seminar in CIS * Up to six hours of technical course credit may be accepted from the bachelor’s degree.
