  1. Palestine The Conflict of Israel and Palestine By Steve Nam Israel

  2. Can teenagers of Israel and Palestine live normal lives after all the violence that was in their lives? What I think • I think that some of the teenagers might recover, but some might not. • I think that some people might not be able to lead normal lives because some teenagers might have seen too much violence.

  3. Can teenagers of Israel and Palestine live normal lives after all the violence that was in their lives? (Cont.) • Here’s what I think what will happen to their lives: • I think that the teenagers that were in the school will remember that their school will be destroyed, but I don’t think that it will make them not live normal lives, but I think they will probably remember their school was destroyed. • I think that if their parents or their homes were destroyed or killed the teenagers might not be able to live normal lives depending on how react. Here’s a fact why some of the teenagers might not be able to live normal lives: “The poor state of health care in Palestine is a major problem that has too often been overlooked. While foreign aid is essential to its improvement, the ultimate solution to Palestine's health care crisis depends on resolving the Israel-Palestineconflict and creating political stability.”

  4. Can teenagers of Israel and Palestine live normal lives after all the violence that was in their lives? (Cont.) • Some teenagers were still able to study like a normal person even though there was violence in their lives. • Here is a person that is still cramming study for her SATs though her family’s apartment was damaged while the people were fighting: Shareefa el-Helou.This is evidence that some teenagers might still live kind of normal lives. • Here’s a fact why some of the teenagers might not be able to live normal lives: “The poor state of health care in Palestine is a major problem that has too often been overlooked. While foreign aid is essential to its improvement, the ultimate solution to Palestine's health care crisis depends on resolving the Israel-Palestineconflict and creating political stability.” • Another reason why teenagers might not be able to live a normal life is because somebody in their family might die or they might become poor because they might not be able to get enough water because the water gives water to forty percent of the total water need of Israel. If you pretend this is a large well and it was once filled, this is what is left after Israel takes water from the Palestinians.

  5. The Side I Take • I think Palestine should win the war and Israel lose the war. • I take the Palestine’s side’s side because in an article I read it said that: “the U.N. General Assembly adopted Resolution 181 (II), which recommended partitioning Palestine into two states—one Jewish and one Arab. While the Jews accepted this plan, the Arabs rejected it, claiming that all of Palestine belonged to them.” and Israel is trying to take something that’s Palestine’s even though they're supposed to get nothing. • I take Palestine side because it says in a website that: “Israel launched a massive air assault on the Gaza Strip”. Why is Israel attacking Palestine? • Here’s a quote why Palestine should win the war: “Even by Middle East standards, last week was pretty grim. It began with an Israeli rocket streaking through the window of a West Bank office building. The target: Mustafa Zibri, head of the hard-line Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.” Israel killed a person for helping them.

  6. The Side I take cont. • Here are more reasons I think Palestine should win the war against Israel. • Here is something from a cite why Palestine should win the war against Israel: “Israeli-Palestinian conflict because it neglects a key cause of volatility in the region: the Israeli occupation of Palestine.” • Why is Israel in Palestine’s land? Israel should lose the war because Israel has went into Palestine’s land even though it knows l where it should be, but is going into a different country and taking it’s stuff. • When Israel made new wells that took water out of old Palestinian wells, Israel made making new wells illegal to stop them from making it. The Israel wanted get more water for themselves so they stopped the Palestinians from getting more water.

  7. The Side I TakeCont. Cont. • Here are more evidence that Palestine should win the war against Israel. • I think that Palestine should win the war against Israel because if Israel wasn’t in Palestine’s land or taking its stuff there wouldn’t be a reason for war. • The Israel people used penal raids that used attack helicopters, tanks, F-16 fighter jets, and ground troops in places where a lot of people live just because the Palestinian people attacked them a little. • Here is another reason Palestine should win the war against Israel: “In one case, Israeli artillery fire hit near a U.N. school where hundreds of Gazans had sought refuge, killing 42 people.” Why would the Israeli soliders do that?

  8. How One Person Could Adapt in a Country • How Liyana and her family adapts to Palestine: • Rafik adapted to Palestine well • Liyana’s mother didn’t expect Palestine to be like how it is • Liyana didn’t adapt well when her family and she arrived in Palestine. • Poppy I think is already adapted because he is living in his home country (Palestine).

  9. How One Person Could Adapt in a Country • More on how Liyana and her family adapts to Palestine and makes changes: • Liyana and her family like Palestinian food • Liyana’s mother likes Rafik’s new school • Poppy breaks an old custom cause he think that there should be more advanced customs Since Liyana is a new person around Palestine and she bought spices in a Palestinian spice shop, an Israeli man questioned her why she was buying spices in a Palestinian shop while he insulted the owner of the spice shop Liyana feels lonely in Palestine which means she didn’t adapt well still until where we read

  10. Conclusion • These are the reason’s I think why Palestine should win the war against Israel: • Israel is trying to take away the land that is Palestine’s and kill a person who is trying to help Palestine. • Wouldn’t you support the country that is having their land taken away and help they could get because you feel bad for them? • Would you want to support Palestine or Israel a country that killed refuges and does the other stuff I wrote in my PowerPoint?
