  8. DEVELOPING LISTENING SKILLS 1- Physical attending – Help yourself to listen • Face the speaker. • Maintain eye contact. • Lean towards speaker. • Stay relatively relaxed.

  9. 2- Psychological attending- a ) listen to what is being said- • Keep mind open. • Think ahead. • Analyze & interpret. • Don’t interrupt.

  10. b) Listen to how is it being said- • Interpret tone of voice. • evaluate non verbal signs. c) Listen to what is not being said – • Ask the right question to ensure you get to know the entire thing.
