  3. CHAPTER OBJECTIVES • Enter a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) • Click links to display Web pages • Refresh a Web page • Browse the World Wide Web using the History list, Favorites list, or URLs • Display Web pages using the Back list and the Back, Forward, and Home buttons

  25. Scroll. The display area todisplay the link, The Splendorsof Imperial China: Treasuresfrom the National PalaceMuseum, Taipei, and thenpoint to the link

  27. Scroll through the display areato view the three picturesnumbered 8, 9, and 10 and thenpoint to the center picture (picturenumber 9)

  28. Click the center picture. Pointto the larger version of theThree Leaves from Landscapesand Flowers picture

  30. STOPPING THE TRANSFER OF A PAGE • Click the stop button • Partially transferred Web page will be in the display area

  31. REFRESHING A WEB PAGE • Point to the Refresh button on the Standard Buttons toolbar
