  3. 1. World Turtle Day® – Turtle and tortoise well-wishers celebrate World Turtle Day® every May 23rd around the globe. This helps in spreading awareness about the positive ways to help turtles and tortoises internationally. http://www.tortoise.com

  4. 2. Rescues – Many people are involved in tortoise and turtle rescue. “Adopt, don’t shop” helps sanctuaries rehome these wonderful creatures throughout the world. http://www.tortoise.com

  5. 3. Sanctuaries –Many groups are working 24/7 to rescue and rehome turtles and tortoises. They need monetary donations, helping hands and in kind gifts. http://www.tortoise.com
