Objectives • Demonstrate the tools available for creating static screen captures from CPRS and Pharmacy applications. • Discuss how the use of these tools can enhance the patient confidentiality requirements that must be followed when creating such documents. • Practice creating a simple web-based video presentation.

  3. Course Outline • SnagIt • Create a handout for the use of the new Medication Worksheet Health Summary • FIFTYNINE, PATIENT has been set up for the demonstration • Scrolling window capture • Stamps for training aid • Privacy and Security of patient/provider identity

  4. Course Outline • Camtasia • Create a video presentation of the new Medication Reconciliation Health Summary • FIFTYNINE, PATIENT (same patient) has been set up for the demonstration • Live presentation with narration • Privacy and Security • Editing tools

  5. Step by Step Instructions • A Word document has been placed on the desktop of each computer in the room • You may wish to partner with the person seated next to you to “lead once” and “drive once” so that you can follow the guide’s steps as you watch the on-screen demonstration
