I know that I would, ultimately, like to be happy, so how to I make that dream happy? • What do you like to do? • Consider these six types of personalities: • Are you a doer? • Are you a thinker? • Are you a creator? • Are you a helper? • Are you a persuader? • Are you an organizer? • Write the following letter headings on the back of your card: D T C H P O

Here are jobs for you: • (I) Investigative ~ people who like: • to research • to understand phenomena • to work alone or in a small group rather than working with the public. • They look for the following types of jobs: biologist, engineer, researcher, meteorologist, economist, astronomist, taxidermist, dietician, television repairperson, psychiatrist, chemical technician, computer operator, or statistician.

Here are jobs for you: • (A) Artistic ~ People who: • enjoy expressing themselves by their artwork • don't like to be enclosed by rigid structure • are often introverted • don't care much for social activities • let themselves be guided by their emotions • You find this type of person among hairdressers, actors, composers, authors, poets, dance instructors, orchestra conductors, camera people, clowns, producers, stage-designers, scene-painters, photographers, translators, or window-dressers.

Here are jobs for you: • (S) Social ~ people who • look for jobs where they can enter into relations with other people and give others help. • This person might enjoy a career as a teacher, nurse, playground supervisor, orientation counselor, social worker, manpower agent, parole officer, bartender, head waiter/ waitress, waiter/waitress, swimming instructor, complaints clerk, physiotherapeutic helper, janitor, guardian, investigator, or ambulance attendant.
