  4. Revelation Revelation means God himself teaches us things about Himself. The Bible says that it isn’t possible for human beings to know God by themselves – God has to come down to us, and show Himself to us, for us to know Him. Why do you think that is? Even so, people try and work out what God must be like philosophically, if he is to be God, the supreme being. .
