Program Design • Designed by Ingham ISD • One face to face meeting • Complete online modules-21 individual modules. • There will be a Discussion Board on Learning Village for support. • Four weeks time to complete the modules. • Module must be emailed by the due date to receive payment and SB-CEU’s

The Portfolio • You will be required to submit a portfolio. • It is strongly recommended that you start immediately and pace yourself to complete all 21 modules by the due date. • Complete activity, take screen shot, write a reflection. • Reflections should be limited to 200 words or less. • Strongly Recommended Pacing • Week One ( Modules 1-7) • Week Two (Modules 8-14) • Week Three( Modules 15-21) • Week Four (Review reflections, assign, etc.) • The due date is four weeks after your initial face to face meeting

  5. Submission of Portfolios • You should submit modules in sequential groups of 7 as they are completed. Example: Modules 1-7 on Aug 1st Modules 8-14 on Aug 8th Modules 15-21 on Aug 15th • Do not submit partial modules or modules out of order.

  6. Submission of Portfolios • Portfolios should be done on your own and uniquely answered; if there is a duplication of materials with other participants your portfolio will be invalidated. • Portfolios should be submitted as a compressed or zipped file. Save your work on the thumb drive as a back up. • Submit the portfolio via e-mail to: harriscenter@detroitk12.org There is an instructional video for how to create a folder and compress a file on your jump drive.

  7. Portfolio Submission • When you submit the portfolio sections label your file. • First initial, Last name, date of your face to face session, and the letter to indicate which module it is. • Modules 1-7 A • Modules 8-14 B • Modules 15-21 C Example: K.Jackson627A

  8. Pay and SB-CEUs • Participants can earn UP TO 8 SB-CEUs • Be sure to complete the evaluation at the secure central registry (register for an account using your DPS e-mail) • SB-CEUs will cost $2.50 for each of the 21 things. (If you complete all 21 modules you would pay 21 X $2.50= $52.50)

  9. Pay • You must complete a time log for the time spent completing the modules. • You will only be paid for the time logged and will not be paid for time exceeding the allocated time for each module. • To earn the SB-CEUs you must be logged for at least the minimum time allocated for each module. • You will be paid for the hours logged at $23.82.

  11. Frequently Asked Questions • Can we collaborate on the assignments? • If I have completed this course with another program/university can I also do it with DPS? • If it takes me longer to complete the modules will I be paid for the extra time?
