Eragon • Eragon was a human of average height, originally with intense brown eyes, dark thick eyebrows and brown hair.He wielded Zar'roc, a crimson sword once belonging to Morzan.He also has a huge scar where he was wounded by a shade named Durza.Eragon was rash in his actions, and did not think enough about what he was doing. He allowed his heart and instinct to guide him rather than reason. Yet, his intentions were always noble, and wished no pain to any living creature. After his training in Ellesméra, he gives up eating meat, except only in dire circumstances. He learns to respect the sanctity of life.Eragon is the founder of the “egg” which Saphira grew out of.Brom is the Father of Eragon.He meets a lot of people from being a happy boy of the age around 16 starting in this first book of the series.

  4. Brom • He also had a long white beard. His most prominent facial feature was a large hooked nose. • Because he was a rider for a time, his ears had elf-like points and on his hand was the Gedwey Ignasia.He was a wise old man because he had lived over one hundred years and had a vast amount of knowledge and was often heard saying thing like "There's a reason we're born with brains in our heads, not rocks." (Eragon, pp 237)” To Eragon acting as a fathering figure to Eragon.Brom knows how dragons act because he has had one before and he is a story teller from Carvahall and meets about all the characters before they all run away.

Saphira • She is a dragon that is about 20 ft long and has blue colored scales as well as her eyes. though out the novel she grows from hatchling to a full grown dragon.She is younger but a lot more grown and acts has a motherly figure to Eragon and he more of his conscience in this series of novels. She was found by Eragon and meet Brom when they started running away together to kill the Razac who killed Eragons Grandfather. And this is how the adventure starts off and fuels the first novel out of the series.

  6. Theme • The book is entitled “Eragon” because it is about the boy named Eragon and all the events and occurrences are based on while he is traveling around the world looking around for the revenge for his grandfather. Thus is why I believe this is a appropriate title for this book.

Arya They are lovers This is a father, son relationship Indirectly this is how he found the dragon egg Brom is the teacher of swordplay and magic They turn out to be very good friends Saphira serves has a conscience to Eragon These three set off on the journey together they both strive for the love of the Hero This is a dragon and rider relationship Brom Brom once had a dragon named Saphira and Eragon choice the same name Brom becomes a teacher to the dragon and they share a mental link Saphira

  9. Eragon • I felt as though Ed Speleers did a fine job at acting as Eragon and I couldn’t picture anyone else because the description in the book has almost perfectly matched this actor and the facial expressions up to his movements are well performed.

Brom • Jeremy irons has done a well job at playing the role of Brom in the official movie but if I were to cast it id have went with someone a little bit Older and with more facial hair because in the book he is described as a very old man who always is wearing a robe and has a very big beard, Someone like Bradley Cooperwith a bit of a aged look.

  11. Saphira • This is not a real actor but I would like to change the voice to a deeper women's voice like Demi Moore’s voice to be spoken from the dragon.

  12. Writing Style • Eragon :speaking “What wisdom can I give people that they haven’t already learned?What feats can I achieve that an army couldn’t do better? It’s insanity!”Eragon : It’s overwhelming. I feel as if I am living in an illusion, a dream where all things are possible. Amazing things do happen, I know, but always to someone else, always in some far-off place and time. Saphira: No hunter of the sky should end his days as prey. Better to die on the wing than pinned to the ground. • Brom: "You don’t know what it is to reach my age, look back, and realize that you don’t remember much of it: then to look forward and know that many years still lie ahead of you..." • Brom : "Well, then... if you do, come tell me. I am most interested in this trader who pretends to know so much about dragons." • I found this book to be very descriptive and the sentences just to flow on greatly , I couldn’t put this book down it was a very mesmerizing book that is full of beautifully described landscapes and very action packed fights with a bit of magic and of course dragons and other mythical creatures.

Theme • The title of the book is Eragon because the whole story is the adventures of this boy named Eragon who harmless found a stone which happened to be a dragon’s egg and this all sends him on an adventure because to find this dragon there are people who had to burn his house down just to look for the egg and also killing his uncle sets out to avenge his grandfather along with his dragon Saphira and
