  2. Desired Outcomes • Understanding of DANRIS-X program reporting system • Understanding Plan and Report modules and timetable for CE Specialists

  3. New Reporting Needs and Requirements • Documenting impacts – what happens as a result of our programmatic efforts? • What are the outcomes/impacts of our research and extension programs? • Documentation of total ANR programmatic activities and impacts on an annual basis

  4. What is new? • One system for both CE Specialists and Advisors • Eventual link to other systems (CRIS, Advisor PR, annual assessment, UC Delivers….)

  5. Linking Our Systems Federal Reports DANRIS-X Annual Plan (advisors and Specialists) State, County Reports DANRIS-X CASA (CE advisors) Advisor PR, Annual Assessment DANRIS-X Annual Report (advisors and Specialists Other Reports

  6. DANRIS-X Annual Plan Collects plan data for each CE Specialist: • ANR Issue/Knowledge Area FTE • Projects/Programs • Objectives/Approach • Commodities • Multi state Extension Activities

Multi state Extension Activities • Federal reporting requirement • In order to receive Cooperative Extension federal funding, all states are required to project and report on Multi state Extension Activity, defined as: • "...collaborative efforts that reflect the programs of institutions located in at least two or more States... Each participating State must be a collaborator towards objectives and involved in the outcomes. “

  8. Multi state Extension Activities • Direct charging portion of Specialists’ salaries to Smith Lever federal funds to meet the multi state extension requirement

  9. Annual Report • Collects information for each Project/Program for CE Specialist • Progress Report • Impacts • Publications • Multi state Extension Activities
