  1. FLIPPED CLASSROOM ACTIVITY CONSTRUCTOR – USING EXISTING CONTENT • Dr.NamrataTripathi • Assistant Professor(on contract), MANIT(Bhopal)

  2. About this constructor This activity constructor document is aimed at assisting teachers in designing Flipped Classroom Activity in their own course using existing content. This guide will deal with Open Education Resources (OER’s) or those licensed under Creative Commons. The slides with white background are information sheets. The slides with Pale-yellow background require you to provide inputs. Replace the text written in BLUE with your input. This will be followed by an example input.

  4. About you I Dr. NamrataTripathi working  as Assistant Professor  in MANIT Bhopal. I had Born  on 01 july 1981, I have 14 yrs teaching and teaching in different engineering colleges. I have done M.Sc(Math) & PhD(Math). My Ph.dtopic Fixed Point theorem want to design a flipped classroom. One research is going on collaboration in USA.I am making one research Project

  5. Objective of a research 1.Minimizing the number of iterations in an optimization process 2. Detect the fastest iteration process performed at different platforms (say, MATLAB) 3. With the help of convergent sequence, rate of convergence can be calculated 4. Applications in different areas such as engineering, Numerical Analysis, differential equation, optimization, and approximation theory.

  6. Teaching learning Methodologies • In the class teacher must use the verbal communication which is informal telling and asking the application of concern topic in daily life. • Then after this board work must be started telling the necessary thing and then raise the question to the student then we can show the model ,video or presentation show in overhead projector related to this. • After completing the topic in the remaining time the recapitulation is carried out so that student get involved in the topic.

  7. Extra Curricular Activities for the development of students Student must make a project. How these topics are used in the area of research. Student must attend the conference and seminar and must give presentation . There must be group discussion for each and every topic among the student in the guidance of teacher.

  8. They must participate in international conference and their work. • If the teacher motivate the students in some specific areas, mentioning that govt.(DST) giving reward and in the form of fellowship foreign visit. • Young scientist award and also give the position of young scientist job in different areas of research in India and abroad.

  24. In-class Activity Design -1 Learning Objective(s) of In-Class Activity At the end of the class, students will be able to, Developed new method of classifier Use the classification and clustering • Key Concept(s) to be covered • Use of classification method in Real World Problem Solving. • Implementation using classification method. EXAMPLE

  25. In-class Activity Design -2 Active Learning activity(ies) that you plan to do • Developed new classifier • Explain the classification and clustering • Give more efficient and accurate result. Explain the strategy by giving details of Explain the classification and clustering by Teacher. Student developed new classifier . Justify why the above is an active learning strategy Outcomes are efficient and accurate

At the end of the class, students will be able to, Developed new method of classifier Use the classification and clustering • Concept clarification using. • Use of classification method in Real World Problem Solving. • Implementation using classification method. EXAMPLE

  27. In-class Activity Design -2 Peer Instruction Strategy – What Teacher Does Pose the two PI questions at the start of the class and provide summary of basic classification and clustering. Q 1: What will select to the method of classification ? Knn classifier Centroid classifier K-mean clustering EXAMPLE

  28. In-class Activity Design -2 Peer Instruction Strategy – What Teacher Does  Q 2: Which of the more efficient method of classification ? Knn classifier Centroid classifier K-mean clustering Fuzzy knn. EXAMPLE

  29. s m1 s4 T2 s2 m3 m4 m2 T3 In-class Activity Design -2 T1 s1 T4 TPS Strategy – What Instructor does First provide a premise Four method of classification m1, m2,m3 and m4, located at four different an agricultural land, are used to crop classification information about excess so Soil and temperature to a central station located at a distant agricultural university. The crop classification information give a output if the value of temperature and soil exceeds. The central station needs to know which area gave high output. Assuming that each information is passed as best method of classification. EXAMPLE

  30. In-class Activity Design -2 TPS Strategy – What Instructor does Instruction: Assuming that Temperature and Soil of a method are Tn and Sn (where n is the station number) as given in the fig, EXAMPLE
