  1. Building According to Code Luke 6:46-49

  2. “And why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words, and acts upon them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.”

  3. “But the one who has heard, and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house upon the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”

  4. TRUTH + OBEDIENCE __________________________ STRENGTH & STABILITY

  5. Preparation and PlanningAccording to Code “…he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock…” What is God calling you to become? What do you need to get there?

  6. Living On The FoundationAccording to Code “…and when the flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.” What kind of older man do you want to become? What kind of missions have you been called to fulfill?

  7. “People enter business as bright, well-educated, high energy people, full of energy and desire to make a difference. By the time they are 30, a few are on the fast track and the rest put in their time and do what matters to them on the weekend. They lose the commitment, the sense of mission, and the excitement with which they started their careers. We get little of their energy and almost none of their spirit.” ~ Bill O’Brien CEO Hanover Insurance “The Fifth Discipline”

  8. “Knowledge is power because it helps the soldier perceive the reality of the battlefield correctly. Knowledge leads to understanding, and understanding to decisiveness. Decisiveness, in turn, increases the chances of victory in battle. Special-ops officers train ceaselessly to be as proficient as possible in every aspect of warfare so that they will be able to perceive the reality of the battlefield correctly. This is why the single greatest common denominator found among these elite warriors is confidence.”

  9. “The more familiar we become with His Word, His will, and His ways, the easier it becomes for us to see God’s hand in our lives. In that sense, knowledge is power. Confidence is every bit as important in the Christian life and in spiritual warfare. We gain this steady assurance by seeing things from God’s point of view. Our power comes from the applied knowledge of God’s Word, His will and His ways. This applied knowledge is also called obedience. Being technical and tactically proficient in God’s army means not just understanding Scripture, but living it.”

  10. Living On The Foundation • “But the noble man devises noble plans; and by noble plans he stands.” Isaiah 32:8
