  • Location: a temperate rainforest can be found in the eastern united states.

  • Description: a temperate rainforest has one, long ,wet winter/spring season with a dry ,foggy summer.

  • Soil type: the soil is very rich in nutrients.

  • Animal species: black bear, cougars, wolfs, lynx, shrew, deer, elk, birds, insects, salmon, small mammals, amphibians, weasel, raccoon.
