  1. God sees us at all times. • “The Lordsaw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen 6:5). • “There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” (Heb 4:13).

  2. God sees what you do!

  3. Psalm 33:12-22

  4. Dual nature of God’s vision: • The Negative Way: God was able to see the sin & attacks of Israel’s enemies (vv 13-17). • The Positive Way: God was able to see the distress of Israel and come to their rescue (vv 18-22).

  5. The Negative Way (vv 13-17): • There is absolutely no way that you can hide anything from God (Ps 139:1-10). • If God determined that a kingdom would not stand, it did not stand. • Nebuchadnezzar learned that lesson. • “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my might power and for the honor of my majesty?” (Dan 4:30). • Dan 4:32.

  6. The Positive Way (vv 18-22): • God’s eye was on Israel to save from death & famine. • We must understand this in light of God’s promises through Moses (Deut 28:9-14).

  7. God sees what you do!

  8. Negatively: You must put away sin. • “God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil” (Eccl 12:14). • “There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” (Heb 4:13).

  9. What sin does God see in your life? • List at least five sins that God sees in your life. • Pick one sin and work diligently to overcome it. • Find Scriptures that speak to that sin (Ps 119:11). • Spend time in prayer about your sin; Jesus in the wilderness. • If you need help, seek help (Gal 6:1).

  10. Positively: God will bless you in adversity. • God promises to bless us through suffering (Js 1:2-4). • As we encounter various trials, God will be able to shape us into what we need to be.

  11. If you understood that “God sees what you do,” how would your life be different?
