  6. Vocabulary Review dividend- the number to be divided 24 ÷ 4 = 6 divisor- the number that the dividend is divided by 24 ÷ 4 = 6

  7. Vocabulary Review quotient - the number that is the result of dividing 24 ÷ 4 = 6

  8. Connecting to Previous Learning You have worked with division of large numbers and division of fractions by whole numbers. You have also worked with fractions. In this lesson, you will put this knowledge together to divide a whole number by a fraction.
