Ammunition Depot Has the .223 Ammo You Need for the One Gun Challenge

There’s a kind of game that gun buffs will sometimes play that is almost, but not quite, like asking someone what their favorite gun is. It’s been coined the One Gun Challenge, as in, “If you could have just one gun, what would it be?” In essence, it’s asking someone which firearm they recognize as the most useful and versatile.

  1. Ammunition Depot Has the .223 Ammo You Need for the One Gun Challenge There’s a kind of game that gun buffs will sometimes play that is almost, but not quite, like asking someone what their favorite gun is. It’s been coined the One Gun Challenge, as in, “If you could have just one gun, what would it be?” In essence, it’s asking someone which firearm they recognize as the most useful and versatile. The answer to that question in recent years has increasingly been the AR-15. If the AR-15 is your firearm of choice, you’re in luck as Ammunition Depot has all the .223 ammoyou’ll ever need. Convenience and Adaptability To some degree, the success of the AR-15 alone has made it such a versatile, convenient, and utilitarian weapon platform. That success means that there are dozens of AR-15 makes and models to choose from on the civilian market. That also means there’s a vast array of price, style, size, and, unfortunately, quality on the market as well. AR-15s are also largely modular, which tends to make parts easy to find, replace, and switch out. Barrels of varying lengths can be swapped out, and though it may violate the One Gun rule,

  2. the AR platform supports dozens of cartridge sizes, from .22 LR to .50 caliber monsters, along with popular cartridges like the .300 AAC Blackout. Low Recoil and Affordable Ammo When chambered for the traditional .223 Remington cartridge, AR-15s have relatively low recoil, especially for a center-fire semiautomatic rifle. That’s great, not just because lower muzzle flip means tighter groupings, but because it makes the AR an ideal rifle for inexperienced shooters to practice with. And as so many people are practicing with them, the ammunition is inexpensive, particularly bulk .223 ammo. Hunting and Home Defense The AR-15 chambered for .223 Remington has been claimed by many to be the ultimate varmint hunting machine. That it throws a small projectile a great distance on a steady, flat trajectory makes it perfect for hitting small targets at long range. The velocity of the bullet means that a clean dispatch is virtually guaranteed. Home defense is consistently cited among the top reasons for buying an AR-15. It hits hard and it supports high-capacity magazines, greater accuracy, and greater range (although that is seldom going to be an issue with home defense). Whatever your reason for buying an AR-15, or planning to buy one, one universal rule always applies—practice. So find some .223 ammo for sale and head down to the range. Find everything you’ll need to light up some steel or punch some paper when you reach the range, at https://www.ammunitiondepot.com/
