  1. SPEAKING SKILL • Goal of English Course: • Focus on developing students mastery on the language form • To focus on developing students’ ability to effectively communicate for study, work and leisure.

  2. OBJECTIVES * Speak with proper stress, intonation, rhythm, pace and pauses * Speak intelligibly. * Speak confidently, fluently and appropriately. * Speak according to the occasion * Speak appropriately keeping in mind relationship with the listener. * Use vocabulary according to the topic

  3. Speak using features of spoken English • Use spoken English in day-to-day situation • Speak in face-to-face situations • Speak to get things done, to comment on people, events and incidents • Speak to express opinions, gratitude, likes and dislikes, agreement and disagreement.

  4. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES • Use polite expressions with ease. • Recite rhymes and songs for own pleasure • Speak a few sentences • Answer simple questions • Make enquiries and requests • Narrate a sequence of events within-100 words • Participate in a conversation • Take part in short skit
