  1. HISTORIA RECIENTE (1941-1945) WillowRun fue un complejo industrial montado por la Ford Motor Company para fabricar el bombardero B-24 Liberator, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Fue la construcción techada más grande jamás construida. Sus dimensiones eran de 18 calles de largo por 4 calles de ancho, aproximadamente. En estas fotos se puede apreciar su complejidad. La Ford llegó a fabricar un bombardero por hora, algo nunca igualado. Se fabricaron en total más 8 mil B-24. Las fotos muestran claramente la magnitud de este emprendimiento de la Fprd Motor Company..
