  7. Recent Research Grants Dr. Wang – Exploiting Semantic Equivalence of Files to Improve Storage System, NSF $499,904 Dr. Burmester – Scholarships for Information Assurance at FSU, NSA, $19,326 Dr. Zhang – Energy-Efficient Wi-Fi Partial Packet Recovery for Android System, Google, $31,216

Faculty Recognitions … Dr. Robert van Engelen • Dr. Michael Mascagni was awarded the Distinguished Scientist award by the ACM for 2011 • Dr. Ted Baker professor of Computer Science • Selected as an IEEE Fellow "for contributions to real-time computing applications." • Dr. Baker was awarded Emeritus status for his contributions to the Department, College and University.
