  15. Application • Christ is to be trusted in the trials of life.

  16. “He who holds us in His hands, has no problems, only plans He who has control of all, sees the smallest sparrow fall. He who acts when no one knows, does not sleep as we suppose, but works in all things both great and small things for His own glory and our best good!"

  17. Application • Christ is to be trusted in the trials of life. • Christ is to be the center of all our hope and joy. The coming of all our joys is governed by Him.

  18. The future progress of history will bring unfathomable riches and happiness to sinners who put their faith in Christ. That is why He alone was worthy to open the seals and reveal that future to us. The lesson is simple: No one or nothing- not your spouse or child or boyfriend or girlfriend or your job – no one but Jesus can make your future bright. Without Him, our hopes of joy are misplaced.

  19. Application • Christ is to be trusted in the trials of life. • Christ is to be the center of all our hope and joy. The coming of all our joys is governed by Him. • Christ is to worshipped passionately, because He died to purchase a people for God, and He has made us a kingdom and priests, who will reign upon the earth.
