  1. Project Overview Conservation and Endangered Species Learning Areas Levels Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) Objectives Research about various animals using text/web sources. Students will then prioritise the information in order to produce a draft script. Students will be expected to demonstrate teamwork, delegating and assigning roles within the group in order to produce a wildlife documentary. Students will also learn how to use multimedia tools effectively to produce a high quality video to be uploaded to GLG/blog.. There are also multiple paths that teachers/students can take to extend the project. Description Following on from a school visit to a wildlife reserve/zoo, students are to produce an online catalogue about the animals that are found in a given environment, as well as the historical, cultural and ecological importance of establishing Wildlife Reserves and Zoos. Students could then use the information found on the website, and will splice segments of online clips with their own footage/pictures to produce a short (2mins) wildlife documentary about some of the speciesfound in the habitat.
