DURING THE SUPER BOWL Commercial during third quarter AFTER SUPER BOWL Commercial during first quarter Jan 31 on Instagram: “Are you cookie? Or are you creme? Choose your side and come back Sunday to battle it out, Instagram style.” Social media throughout game Oreo optimized on the blackout by quickly designing this ad, “Dunk in the Dark” and posting to Twitter. Had artists recreate people’s submitted photos using either the cookies or the creme. Posted throughout the game. TWITTER RESPONSE AFTER SUPER BOWL SUCCESS METRICS Received a 5.58/10 from Ad Meter (highest score given was 7.76/10.) 10.3 million views on YouTube. In The 2013 Brand Keys Super Bowl Engagement Survey, Wonderful Pistachios scored a +9 and was considered a “winner.”
