  5. Making nouns plural….. When the noun ends in a vowel just add –s. Ex: el libro~~~~los libros la carpeta~~~ las carpetas When a noun ends in a consonant add –es. Ex: el papel~~~~los papeles el cartel~~~~ los carteles When the noun ends en a –z : change the –z to –c and add –es Ex: el lápiz~~~~ los lápices la luz~~~~~ las luces

  9. TENER • To ask someone how old they are (your peer): ¿Cuántos años tienes (tú)? • To respond: Yo tengo catorce años. • To ask an adult : ¿Cuántos años tiene Ud.? • To ask about someone’s age: ¿Cuántos años tiene Bobby (él)? • ¿Cuántos años tiene Sally (ella)?
