Web 2.0 • 信息超载的时代(Information Overload) • 学习的时代 (Age of Learning) • 以人为本 (Centered on People) • 人际互动、人际交流、个性张扬 (Interactivity, Communication, Self-Assertion) • 本质是社会现象,是网络控制权的下放和分散 (Social Phenomenon, Decentralization of Control) • 公开对话 (Open Dialogue) • 信息资源自由分享和利用 (Sharing and Free Using of Information)

Librarian 2.0 and Beyond—Preferred Requirements(对图书馆人的基本要求) • 要有适应变化的能力 Able to Adapt to Change • 能够在线上游刃有余 Well-versed Online • 有排除技术故障的能力 Able to Solve Technical Problems • 要有能够轻松地学习新技术的能力,不要惧怕新的技术 Able to Learn New Technology Instead of Fearing It • 跟上信息技术和图书馆学的新思维 Able to Keep Abreast with New Ideas in Informaiton Technology and Librarianship

Librarian 2.0 and Beyond—Preferred Requirements(对图书馆人的更高要求) • 要有管理项目的能力 Able to Manage Projects • 要有质疑和评估图书馆服务的能力 Able to Question and Evaluate Library Services • 要有评估所有相关责任方的能力 Able to Assess Share-Holders • 要有把传统图书馆的服务转化为网络服务的远见 Able to Transform Traditional Library to Networked Services • 善于对不同的技术进行分析和比较,要懂得避免技术奢侈 Able to Analyze and Compare Technology to Avoid • Technolust • 要有推销自己的设想和图书馆服务的能力 Able to Market One’s Idea and Library Services
