  2. Abstract • Story • The Bird-Watching Learning (BWL) System which is an outdoor mobile learning system with PDA , notebook , wireless, and ad-hoc by MANET, is based on scaffolding.

  3. Contribution • This article designs a mobile scaffolding-aid –based bird-watching learning system, which aims to construct an outdoor mobility-learning activity under the up-to-date wireless technology. • This work aims to synthesize the cognition, sentiment, and technology domains to establish new outdoor-ecological learning model.

  4. Comment • E-learners naturally promote their learn willing when using the wireless handheld device. • The implementation of Scaffolding-Aid is in the middle-test.

  5. Scaffolding & BWL • The major characteristic of scaffolding-aid model is to support structure-assistance during the learning process. • The purpose of the BWL system is to support the structure-assistance.

  6. The BWL System • A wireless ad-hoc network (MANET) • Hardware : PDA, notebook, a Wi-Fi wireless network card (IEEE 802.11b protocol) • Software • Bird-watching • Bird-searching • Bird-database • Bird-searching trace file

  7. Affective Domain

  8. Conclusion • The BWL system contains a mobile learn sheet sub-system, which to integrate the scaffolding-aid learn model into the BWL system. • A Mobile Learning System for Scaffolding Bird Watching Learning • Realizing Outdoor Independent Learning with a Butterfly-Watching Mobile Learning System
