YR 9 PICTORIAL DRAWINGPictorial Drawings are 3 DIMENSIONAL drawings that communicate the shape and form of an object, to an audience that may be untrained in interpreting technical drawings.Which image would best communicate information on the shape and form of the tap? The technical drawing or the pictorial ?

  2. TYPES OF PICTORIALS There are three general classifications of pictorials. • AXONOMETRIC • OBLIQUE • PERSPECTIVE

  3. AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION Axonometric Projection is when the object being drawn, is turned so that it’s three main faces can be seen by the viewer.

  4. AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION There are three main classifications within Axonometric Projection drawings. • Isometric • Dimetric • Trimetric

  5. AXONOMETRIC PROJECTIONISOMETRIC PROJECTION Isometric means “equal measure”.
