General Approach – Under Secretary’s Direction • Transparent set of policies that ensure nuclear safety is integrated into a corporate management approach • Implementing procedures support the policy and are replicable across the ESE Complex • Personnel identified to execute the policy • Vigilance in executing that policy • Mechanisms established for continuous improvement (including policy)
