  11. Labs -- Overview • Introduction to vi editor • UNIX command syntax and utilities • Advanced commands • Advanced vi editor, regular expressions • UNIX shells – Bourne, Korn shells • UNIX shell programming and scripts CS 145

  13. Homework • Due second lab day after assigned • Labs designed to give you experience with UNIX and UNIX tools • Turn in — Class, Production Center, e-mail • Labs have cover sheet • No backup services for student areas CS 145
