  4. Evernote..what to know • Can be used on any device • Home Computer • Work Computer • Online • Android and Apple Devices • All Notes Sync

  6. Let’s See An Example • I would like to make a classroom Agenda • 1st Create a new Notebook for Agenda • 2nd Create New Note

  7. Next, Title your new Note and begin typing • In Evernote, you have the same text options as a basic Word Document using the tools below

Why would you need this?? • Consider the following: • Ideas for School Projects/Lessons (that you think of at random locations) • Your To Do list looks like a mountain of yellow sticky notes • Perfect place for grocery lists • Remember those special movie dates, B-days, and passwords. • Prescriptions (quick list of what your taking for those Dr. appointments) • Quick Picture (see a flyer, phone number, Business Card, etc.)

  9. To Do Lists…my favorite • This helps keep me on track and I can quickly check at starbucks, while cooking dinner, before bed, etc. I have installed Evernote on all my devices to keep me extra efficient!

  10. You can also insert pictures & files…big help if you don’t have time to go to email and attach I especially like this when I’m out shopping for clothes or trying to decorate the home, etc.

  11. Also use it for files that I need to easily retrieve.

  12. What to Remember about Evernote • It’s Free • It can be downloaded to any device. • You can also use the web version (similar to checking your yahoo or hotmail account) • There are several other cool features

Approved Software List • All the things I’ve shown you today are listed on the approved software list for DODEA • If you are a DODDS Educator, you will need to check this list before asking for anything to be installed. • You can receive this list from your ET/AT • It’s a PDF form and you search by name • If the software is listed and free, you can request that the software be included on your desktop..
