Horn Relays. Relay Circuit. Relays are used to control current flow A small circuit can energize the coil. This closes the contact points thus allowing current to flow to another component. The two circuits are completely separate. Relay. This is what a Relay could look like on the inside.

  2. Relay Circuit • Relays are used to control current flow • A small circuit can energize the coil. This closes the contact points thus allowing current to flow to another component. • The two circuits are completely separate.

  5. Relay with ignition switch • This relay the key has to be on so it will work. 87 86 30 85

  7. ISO Mini Relay Most manufactures went to this standard NC NO Terminals #30 to #87a are NC and terminals #30 to #87 NO

  8. ISO Mini Relay To test off of car hook Battery + to Terminal 86 and ground 85 should click hook a ohm meter between 30 and 87 and see what happens
