Focusing For Results • Alignment with United Way Community Impact Agenda • Researching and discussion around specific priority areas • The WLC adopted improving the high school graduation rate as its signature cause until the group reaches the goal of a 90% graduation rate or 2018. United Way of Forsyth County

Focusing Our Strategy To provide success-ready students to the 9th grade, with initial focus on Middle School students that will enter 9th grade at our community’s most struggling high schools by funding the following projects: • Tutoring • Family Engagement • Summer Success Academy United Way of Forsyth County

  6. Measuring our Success • Intermediate Success is measured by: • improvements in standardized test scores • the number of students that are functioning at grade level • the number of students that are promoted to the next grade • reduced behavior problems in school • Increased family engagement • Final Success is measured by: • Graduation from high school • Successful adults United Way of Forsyth County
