  1. Outages

  2. Outages • We have not been able to consolidate our outage postings to one OASIS site as planned • We are working to address posting accuracy and outage path limits on the OATI OASIS • While we work out the issues with OATI, the legacy OASIS system is the system of record for outages on PacifiCorp’s transmission system

  3. Outage Postings on OASIS Information on outages on PacifiCorp’s transmission system can be found here on the OATI OASIS web site.

  4. Outages Postings on OASIS • From the outage folder on the OATI OASIS web page you can access information on current and future outages. • Outage information can be accessed by using 3 links on the OATI OASIS web page: • Legacy OASIS outages • PPW Outages • Outage Planning Process

  5. Outage Posting on OASIS Outages posted on the PacifiCorp Legacy OASIS in the Legacy OASIS format. Outages posted on the PacifiCorp OATI OASIS in the OATI format. Project management construction outages and information.

  6. Outage Postings on OASIS • The system of record for outages is the Legacy OASIS outage postings. • OATI OASIS outage postings are the same outages as the in the legacy postings but due to issues we are having with the OATI formatting may not be accurate or confusing. Please refer to the Legacy OASIS postings. • If you have questions concerning posted outages call Dean Pace at (503)251-5180

  7. Legacy Outage Postings Reason for outage or work to be done. Line or equipment Path(s) impacted and amount de-rated. Path restrictions, notes and other outage information Path(s) impacted by outage

  8. OATI OASIS Postings Line or equipment Path rating change. Path(s) impacted by outage Path restriction notes and other outage information

  9. Changes to OATI OASIS Postings • The ability to post all outages on OASIS • This will allow posting outages that do not affect paths. • All Prescheduled and forced outages will be posted identically in all formats. • Post outage dates and de-rates for the entire outage whether the outage is the most restrictive outage on the posted path. • This will reduce the number of dates and times of the outage which can cause confusion. • OATI software to determine which outage is most restrictive and reduce TTC accordingly.

  10. Outage Planning Process • Project Management will post construction project outage plans weekly in the Outage Planning Process folder. • Construction project outages affecting paths and generation are scheduled and posted on the Legacy, OATI outage and in the area subfolders of the Outage Planning Process folder.

  11. Outage Planning Process • Outages that do not affect path or generation are scheduled and posted in the area subfolders of the Outage Planning Process folder. • Information in these reports will contain, new outages, reasons for outages, and reasons for outage scheduling changes.

  12. Outage Planning Process Click here to access information concerning outages related to major transmission projects Selecting these links will access project management outage reports and information.
