Six Senses Hideaway is the boutique interpretation of the Six Senses brand, where attention to detail and focus on the reality of the destination is the driving force, together with an unwavering commitment to the environment. Offering elegantly designed architecture and natural furnishings, they are positioned with an image supporting the Six Senses Hideaway theme – ‘Redefining Experiences’. The Brief The Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi was keen to create an area of calm where guests could relax and unwind in a way that complemented and enhanced the Intelligent Luxury ethos. The Ultimate Library proposed a selection of illustrated books for the larger residences, and a newly built library in the guest services centre

  3. The Solution The Six Senses Hideaway solution is a handpicked reading and reference library for guests using the hotel. The collection of books has been selected to entertain, educate and inspire. It has a large section on the local area, its history, culture and wildlife; a wide selection on travel, history and global issues; and for those who want to escape, prize winning literature, thrillers and jolly good reads. The Library The proposal was based on the following elements: The Ultimate Library of 228 hardback and 500 reading titles for escape, a selection of foreign language titles and 20 illustrated titles in a sense of style, design, architecture and wine to give an insight into the region. Also included was a selection of faux books to fill a top shelf area The Ultimate Suite Library with 3 illustrated titles placed in each of the 15 suites ‘…The guests are always complimenting us on our excellent library…’ – GM Six Senses

We will overcome any importing challenges by distributing the goods through a local hub. • Setting Up and Training We can arrange for our agents to be on hand to set up the library, train hotel staff and visit the site regularly to discuss feedback and further requirements • Marketing Guidelines. We provide marketing guidelines to maximise the potential of the hotel library.
