Outcomes Academic & behavior targets that are endorsed and emphasized by students, families, and educators Practices Curricula, instruction, interventions, and strategies that are evidence-based Data Information that is used to identify status, need for change, and effects of interventions Systems Supports that are needed to enable the accurate and durable implementation of the practices of PBIS

PBIS Word Sort • In groups of three, sort the cards found in the envelope. • The “Data, Systems & Practices” graphic is a highly useful tool, but challenge yourselves! • Explain why you think each card belongs to a particular category. Use your persuasive skills yet listen to others views! • When your group is done, decide on an overarching “big idea” to title your sort. • Be prepared to share some thoughts with the whole group.
