  2. ROCK HISTORY • Classic rock was originally conceived as a radio station programming format which evolved from the album oriented rock (AOR) format in the mid-1980s. In the United States, this rock music format now features a limited playlist of songs ranging from late 1960s through today with more emphasis on the earlier hits by artists associated with the loosely-defined "classic rock era".

SOMETHING ABOUT PALÁC AKROPOLIS • The cultural complex, consisting of an independent theatre, a concert hall, a cinema and an exhibition space and called THE AKROPOLIS PALACE, has for over half a decade been contributing to the wealth of cultural life in Prague. Palac Akropolis is becoming well known also outside Europe and is often described as a cosmopolitan place with an original atmosphere which can reputedly help people find and understand the Czech identity.
