Hardware Installation Milestones • 4 sector installation - complete Target dates • Full ring installation and testing – 30 July • Diagnostic beamline phase 1 – 30 July • RF installation and testing by – 31 Aug (Commissioning with ITEC from 18 Aug …..) • Diagnostic beamline phase 2 – 30 Sep • Would need to open the ALICE equipment wall before to get the long diagnostic beamline modules into the area 2 day shutdown towards the end of Aug Assumptions • Access to accelerator on weekdays • all July, • Most of August • 50 – 50 in September and October • ALICE long shutdown starts on 18th October • Need to fold into plan EMMA ring quadrupole survey – Jul or early Aug • 5 day shutdown

Shift Request • July injection line and 4 sector • 12 shifts • 12 - 15 July: shift 3 (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu) • 19 - 22 July: shift 3 • 26 - 29 July: shift 3 • August EMMA ring commissioning without RF • 14-18 shifts. Prefer shift 3+ of Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu • September – October 18 • 22 - 26 shifts. Prefer shift 3+ of Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu
