  6. Execs – in general • Volunteers • Meet once a month (3rd Monday) • Passion for softball, passion for ministry • Plan theme, logistics, insurance, events (i.e. banquet, Gear Up, etc.)… even lunches • Consistent attendance, personal testimony, pastoral reference

  7. Execs – in general • Planning for 2014 season began in September 2013 • From various churches and denominations • 2013 numbers: • 40 churches, 70 teams, 1700 players

  10. New Rules 2014 (1/2) • Age limit in Juniors (14-18) • To be implemented: no Senior players in Juniors • Game Mercy – option of losing team • Opening Prayer and Devotions are mandatory • if a player misses prayer/devo and plays in the game = forfeit

  11. New Rules 2014 (2/2) • Jewelry - 1st infraction – not an ejection • Offense (i.e. batter) – out • Defense (i.e. fielder) – obstruction, all awarded one base • Thrown bats – umpires discretion • Complete Uniform – now includes sleeves
