  3. Why not multiple accounts? • Central location • Don’t dilute follower pool • It’s the law (policy) • Easier to control the message • Multiple (trusted) admins provide more content, less time burden • But: Make sure one, central admin monitors all content!

  4. Messaging • Keep your messages consistent. • One message can be spread across multiple platforms. • Reach users on all platforms. • Think: Would automation help?

  16. Respond or not? What OC Parks does: • If it’s a direct question to @OCParks, the PIO responds. • If PIO doesn’t have the answer, it is forwarded via e-mail to pertinent staff. • PIO shares Tweets with pertinent staff (positive and negative).

  17. When we don’t • Sometimes, people just need to vent. • No response expected, no question directed. • Alerts already on our website.

  18. With the bad, comes the good.
