The Early Years www.amazon.com/itsalongwaythere • Little River Band evolved from an early 70’s group called “Mississippi.” • They came together in 1974 in Melbourne, Australia. • Original members came from well-known Australian bands like The Twilights, Axiom, and the Master Apprentices. • They released their self-titled album in November of 1975, which featured the single “It’s a Long Way There.”
