Background • In 2007, Shenzhen Government launched the project to develop networking and supercomputer facilities in Shenzhen.  • In 2009, the State Science and Technology Commission approved to construct Nebulae • Total investment: 1.23 billion RMB • In Nov. 2011, Launching Ceremony of NSCCSZ • Provide services for Shenzhen, South China Region and for the whole country

  4. Buildings Phase One Construction: Building Area 43 000 m² Computer Building: 4 floor, 12 000 m² Research Building: 16 floor, 31 000 m²

  5. Organization • Among the technical and administrative staff, 90% hold a master’s or doctoral degree, several have overseas education experience. • It’s expected to establish a platform for technological innovation with hundreds of qualified and experienced employees by the end of 2012.

Information Security --ISO/IEC27001、ISO/IEC20000 • Systematic service management processes - to provide real-time control, higher efficiency and continuously improvement • Multiple Backups protection mechanisms - the security level higher than that of banks, securities companies and other financial institutions • Distributed Storage- A File is sliced into pieces and stored in many different physical storage devices • Virtual Machine Agent - Provides a virtual machine package and system integrity monitoring and log inspection • Virtual Sec equipment - to provide firewall and IPS/ IDS deep packet inspection, from the VM Security to the overall safety
