Weapons from the Great War. Soldiers used many weapons to fight in the Great War. Aeroplanes were used for the first time They were made of wood and fabric. Tanks were used in battle for the first time as well. Some of the British Tanks were made in Lincoln on Tritton Road.

  7. Bombs and Grenades • These are hand made bombs out of old food tins. • Huge bombs were also fired or dropped from aircraft that made huge holes in the ground called craters • Hand grenades were also thrown
