Organized by CBSE, NEET is an exam whose rank decides whether a candidate will be able to clear the prestigious and toughest exam to be a part of one of the best colleges in India. While it is accepted that NEET is one of the most difficult entrance exams to clear in India, one should surely avoid some silly mistakes that can obstruct your success. So, which mistakes one should avoid during NEET 2019 preparation phase. Have a look below. 1.Timetable – We always recommend you to prepare and follow a well-framed NEET study plan. Follow your schedule. Following it religiously for proper time management and you can easily avoid last minute stress and hassle. However, never overdo it; do not follow a tight and stringent schedule. We know there is a popular belief that if you study for longer hours you’ll be successful in the exam. In reality if you stretch your body and mind, you will get tired soon and may get bored of studying. So to keep the freshness and activeness intact, try taking frequent short study breaks. 2.Reference Books – While it is recommended to use NCERT books for preparing for NEET, never refer multiple books at a time. Studying from multiple books leads to confusion, and you may end up doing several mistakes. So, what to do? Refer not more than 2 books for your preparation for NEET 2019. 3.Previous year question papers– Solving mock tests or past question papers is the best practice. But if you are only studying and not checking your preparation level, you are making a grave mistake. Practice helps you know where you stand before the exam; it helps know your strengths and weaknesses. 4.New subjects – Do not touch any new subject just before the exam or during the revision phase. It will do nothing good but will add to your stress and confusion. So, revise only what you have studied the entire tenure. 5.Exercise – While preparing for the toughest examination in the country, stress and anxiety are common. When you can’t avoid it, you should definitely not allow this tension to take a toll on your health. So, exercise well, eat properly and sleep sufficiently. Drinking 8 glasses of water to keep your body hydrated. Eat only healthy homemade food; please avoid junk food to stay fit for the examination.
